Patrick’s Hull Care offer many services for your vessel. We serve Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Manatee counties including St.Petersburg, the Pinellas Beaches, Tierra Verde, Tarpon Springs, Apollo Beach, Hillsborough River, Manatee River, and Tampa to name a few. If you would like to know if we offer services in your area or to get a complimentary estimate, please call us at +1 813-516-8812 or you can email us at [email protected].

We are happy to service your vessel whether it resides at a marina, residence, or if you are just passing through as a transient cruiser.

Many of our customers are coming from northern or fresh waters and heavy growth, zinc anodes, and a new type of boat can bring about maintenance issues that are unfamiliar. Questions on boats and Florida waters are more than welcome. If we don’t know an answer, we can introduce you to those that do.

Hull Cleaning

Patrick’s Hull Care offers a 2 or 4 week hull cleaning cycle for our customers.
• Many boats that reside in the high growth areas are on a 2 week cycle during the warm water months and then switch to a 4 week cycle once the water temperatures drop below 70 degrees.
• We monitor your growth and make recommendations if you are in one of these high growth areas

On Call Services:
• We also offer on call services for our transient cruisers and work with many yacht management companies and boat brokers as their on call divers.

Off Schedule Cleanings:
• If the boat will be traveling, out of the water, or potentially sold please try to give a week notice if possible.
• SeaTrial cleanings & Haul Out cleanings: We recommend that if your boat is being hauled out for maintenance that you schedule a cleaning within 48 hours before haul out.
• If you need a special, off schedule, cleaning we are happy to adjust as needed, call or email our office.

Zinc Cleaning, Monitoring and Replacement

Patrick’s Hull Care Divers carries an extensive inventory of anodes for your vessel.
• We charge MSRP for sacrificial anodes (aka zincs) and if you would like to provide your own just call the office to let us know if they will be kept in a dock box or easily accessible cockpit locker.
• If you have questions about electrolysis issues please let us know and we’ll provide regular zinc ratings in your boat reports to see the anode burning rate trends.
• Fast burning zincs can indicate heavy electrolysis issues. Zincs that burn too slowly can also be bad, if not bonded correctly the sacrificial zinc anodes may not be doing their job.

Specialty Labor

We also are available to help with any specialty labor you may need such as:

• Search & Recovery • Prop Pull • Prop Installation • Recommendations for bottom paint • Recommendations for haul out yards • Annual service of geared propellers • Underwater survey • Electrolysis identification and diagnosis • Recommendations for marine electricians • Recommendations for marine mechanics • Dock Repair • Dock Piling Wrap to protect against boring worms • Concrete Jacketing of Pilings
